Arbitration, mediation and conciliation

Mediation, conciliation and arbitration are out of court conflict resolution procedures, namely, alternative ways for the ordinary jurisdiction and thus, more agile, fast, confidential and cost-effective.

ARBITRATION

Arbitration acts in situations in which parties are in conflict in connection with the most suitable solution for a particular issue, and decide to submit it to an impartial third party, named arbitrator, for him/her to solve their difference.

MEDIATION

Mediation proceedings consist of a series of acts in which a mediator acts in order to channel communication between parties. The role of the mediator is to bring together the views of the parties involved in the conflict for them to reach an agreement handled by themselves.

CONCILIATION

Conciliation is a proceeding by which the conciliating party gets involved in order to bring opposing parties in a conflict, together.
